Taking My Ferrari Extreme To The Airwaves

After creating the Ferrari Art.Engine, I realized wireless music playback was going to become the future of listening. While we had
built wireless playback technology into the Art.Engine, I wanted to raise the bar on wireless quality in a world that was ripe with
low-budget, and low-quality iPod docks and wireless systems. We were researching and building the best possible wireless audio
transmission and receiving systems into the Art.Engine and I wanted to offer non-Art.Engine owners the chance to have higher
quality wireless music. After more research and a deal with an audio company, it was time to design and engineer the ultimate
iPod dock. Something that would make an instant statement. Even the volume control knob ("wheel") had to be amazing. The
design of this part alone, with all that went into making it work, including the big roller bearing and "clicker" mechanism, made
playing with this product a treat. It was so great that I eventually decided to start including them with each Art.Engine, as an extra
gift to each lucky owner. - DW
