I really wanted to “fix” the world of music. I was convinced people would appreciate the benefits of our Aphex technology. Given the
advent of pod-casting, all the home-grown recording moments and the need for cost-effective, quality recording tools, we figured
out a way to put our processing into a digital microphone. We built an innovative mic that could be connected to a laptop, allowing
anyone to record – and create proper sonic quality – from anywhere. The Aphex Mic-X was designed to go on the road and raise
the bar on portable recording. We had lots of great artists using the Mic-X in their hotel rooms after concerts and on tour buses
